Voter Recommendations
The Libertarian Club plans to prepare a list of voter recommendations, along the lines of the NRA model. We would like to hear from LCNY members across New York State with recommendations for our endorsement. We can endorse at the state, federal or local level. We will consider candidates from any party, as long as they adhere to libertarian ideals. We are looking for the next Ron Paul and we will not care about his ostensible party enrollment, when we find him or her.
Candidates are endorsed by a vote of the membership. The club’s staff may make recommendations regarding ballot initiatives or referendums. If you are on our mailing list, we will keep you updated with the results.

2024 Presidential Election
The general membership of the club was given the question of who we should endorse. They voted, by a wide margin, to endorse Donald J. Trump. Let’s provide the margin of victory in this election. The Libertarian vote should come to be known as the decisive demographic.
Libertarian Party candidate Chase Oliver came in a distant second. As the Libertarian Party is not on the ballot in New York State, he must be considered a write-in candidate.

2020 Presidential Election
The general membership of the club was given the question of who we should endorse. No one received a majority and 25% voted not to endorse anyone. Therefore, we did not make an endorsement that year.
This exercise was an important step in the club’s growth and we were in no way disappointed by the lack of a specific endorsement. Rather, this practice run better prepared us for the next election. Given the club’s rapid growth rate, the need for planning and preparation is real.
